Major construction on the site is complete with crews making final preparations to activate this important improvement to the BJWSA distribution system.

Currently, the tower is undergoing final inspections and permitting.  Next, teams will complete sanitization procedures. After tests confirm that no bacteria are present in the tank, the project team will gradually connect it to the greater distribution system, reducing the likelihood of a hydraulic disturbance and discoloration. Final connections are expected in mid-December.
