Jimmy Baker retired from Palmetto Electric Cooperative after more than 36 years of service, where he held roles including Member Services Representative, Office Manager, District Manager, and ultimately Senior Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations.
Jimmy has long been active in cooperative, energy, and community leadership. He previously served on the Thomas Heyward Academy Board, Coastal Carolina Hospital Board and the Jasper County Transportation Committee. He was appointed to the Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority Board in 2017.
A member and former deacon of Ridgeland Baptist Church, Jimmy holds an Associate degree from Anderson College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of South Carolina.
