BJWSA will conduct a flushing program for a two-week period starting February 21. The flushing project is due to the need for maintenance on a 36-inch water line located in Jasper County. There will be no interruption in service as a result of the work. Maintenance will occur in five phases, and flushing will occur between 8 pm to 5 am, several nights during the month of February. For a map of the project area, visit https://www.bjwsa.org/water-outages/ under the scheduled maintenance section. Customers can use their water as normal, but may notice brief discoloration in the tap water as a result of lines being flushed. If water appears discolored, customers should run cold water for a few minutes. If discoloration persists, BJWSA customers can call (843) 987-9200.
